Caramel pear pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- granulated sugar - 2/3 c
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- boiling water - 3/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- dash of ground cloves - 1 item
- or 1 16 oz - 4 medium
How to make caramel pear pudding cake:
Baking Temperature: 375°. Baking Time: 45 minutes.In a large bowl, stir together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and cloves. Add milk; beat until smooth. Stir in pears and pecans. Turn into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
In separate bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and boiling water; pour evenly over batter. Bake. Serve immediately with ice cream, milk or whipped cream. Makes 8 servings.
