- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1/2 lb
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- box light brown sugar - 1 item
How to make caramel nut pound cake:
Cream butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Combine baking powder, flour and salt and add to mix alternately with milk. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, American.
