  • cream - 3/4 c
  • hot water - 3/4 c
  • light brown sugar - 3 c
  • butter size of 1/2 egg

How to make caramel icing:

Dissolve sugar in hot water. Gradually add cream. Cook to soft ball. Add vanilla and butter and beat until creamy enough to spread.
