Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- sifted confectioners sugar - 2 c
How to make caramel icing:
Melt butter or margarine in saucepan. Add brown sugar and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk, stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and cool. Add confectioners sugar and beat well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
