Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- light brown sugar - 1 lb
- vanilla added after icing is cooked - 1 tsp
How to make caramel icing:
Cook on medium heat until boiling. Then cook only 2 minutes. Beat with mixer until of spreading consistency. (Add vanilla.) Double recipe to frost sides of cake!Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
