Caramel frosting



  • vanilla
  • brown sugar
  • powdered sugar
  • canned milk - 3/4 c
  • 1/2 sticks butter or margarine - 1 item

How to make caramel frosting:

Cook first 3 ingredients together until it strikes a boil, then boil 2 minutes. Have powdered sugar sifted and remove from heat; stir in. Add vanilla. Beat until it gets thick enough to spread. Makes enough for 3 layers of cake.
