  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • Karo syrup - 1/4 c

How to make caramel corn puffs:

Mix butter, sugar and syrup. Heat in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil. Stir constantly (approximately 5 minutes). Remove from heat. Add 1/4 teaspoon soda; stir. Place popcorn on a large cookie sheet or baking pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Pour syrup mixture over the popcorn. Bake 1 hour at 250°. Stir every 15 minutes.
