  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • popped corn - 3 qt
  • cream or tartar - 1/4 tsp

How to make caramel corn:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan except popcorn over medium heat; cook until it coats a spoon. Pour over popped corn. You can add peanuts to mixture before pouring over corn. Bake on cookie sheets for 1 hour at 200° for extra crispness.
