Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- dark brown sugar - 2 c
- light Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- popcorn, popped
How to make caramel corn:
Boil Karo syrup, butter, salt and brown sugar to 240° or until rolls in ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat and add soda; beat well. Pour over popcorn gradually and stir until completely coated. Place in a 200° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
