Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- or more raw shelled peanuts - 1 c
How to make caramel corn:
Boil together 5 minutes; remove from heat. Add baking soda and vanilla. Pour syrup mixture over 2 gallons popped corn with unpopped kernels removed. Put in 250° oven in a large roasting pan for 1 hour. Stir popcorn and syrup every 15 minutes. ThiRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
