Caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- white corn syrup - 1/4 c
- popped corn no salt or oil - 4 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Boil together the margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Bring to a hard boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and soda and stir well. While foaming, pour over popped corn, stirring to coat all popcorn. Do in a large roasting pan. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
