Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 lb
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 3 qt
- peanuts - 1 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix popped corn and peanuts together and set aside. Mix remaining ingredients except soda in microwave in 4-quart dish. Microwave on High 9 to 13 minutes. Stir each 5 minutes. Mixture should be completely dissolved and 250°. Quickly add soda. Stir until foamy. Pour over popped corn and peanuts. Mix well.
