Ingredients/Components
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- light brown sugar
- white corn syrup - 3 Tbsp
- margarine 3/4 stick - 6 Tbsp
- slightly salted popped corn - 8 c
How to make caramel corn:
Syrup:1 c. light brown sugar3 Tbsp. white corn syrup6 Tbsp. margarine (3/4 stick)1/4 tsp. cream of tartar1/2 tsp. soda Boil brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine and cream of tartar over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over corn and stir. Heat in 250° oven for one-half hour. Stir often.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
