Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped popcorn - 6 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Heat oven to 250°. Melt butter; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil another 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn. Mix well. Turn into 2 large shallow baking pans. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
