Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 6 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- Karo light syrup - 1/2 c
- unroasted peanuts - 1 c
How to make caramel corn:
Bring the brown sugar and syrup to a rolling boil. Boil 5 minutes; take off fire and add soda. Mix popped corn, syrup and peanuts; spread on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour at 250°. Break in pieces. Cool. Put in airtight container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
