  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 6 c
  • sticks oleo - 2 item
  • Karo light syrup - 1/2 c
  • unroasted peanuts - 1 c

How to make caramel corn:

Bring the brown sugar and syrup to a rolling boil. Boil 5 minutes; take off fire and add soda. Mix popped corn, syrup and peanuts; spread on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour at 250°. Break in pieces. Cool. Put in airtight container.
