Caramel corn



Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cube margarine - 1 item
- light Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- cube butter - 1 item
- bags microwave popcorn - 3 item
How to make caramel corn:
Cook popcorn; set aside in very large foil roaster pan. Bring ingredients to a gentle boil in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Keep stirring until foamy. Pour syrup over popcorn, coating evenly. Bake at 200° for 1 hour, tossing every 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread out on wax paper and separate as it cools. Store in airtight containers.
