Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- white corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped popcorn - 7 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Combine sugar, syrup, oleo and salt in a large saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda; it will get frothy. Pour over popcorn and mix. Put on 2 cookie sheets. Bake in a 200° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
