Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt in saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 250° for 1/2 hour. Stir occasionally.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
