light brown sugar - 2 c
margarine - 1/2 c
shortening - 1/2 c
soda - 1/2 tsp
water - 1 Tbsp
flour - 3 c
eggs - 2 item
nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
cream of tartar - 1 tsp
vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make caramel cookies:

Mix as any cookies but shape into rolls. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Slice and bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
