Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- canned milk evaporated - 8 Tbsp
- large can Pet milk evaporated - 1 item
- Add milk, vanilla, baking powder and flour
How to make caramel cake:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Add milk, vanilla, baking powder and flour. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured pans. Make 4 or 5 thin layers. Bake at 350° until done.Icing:1 box light brown sugar8 Tbsp. canned milk (evaporated)2 sticks butter Heat in medium saucepan on medium-high heat until mixture comes to a rolling boil that you can't stir down.
