Caramel apples



Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- honey - 2 c
- to 8 large apples - 6 item
How to make caramel apples:
Mix honey and evaporated milk together. Cook, stirring constantly, to firm-ball stage or to 255° on a candy thermometer. Stir in vanilla, butter and salt. Dip apples into caramel. Spoon excess from bottom. Place on greased cookie sheet. Chill until caramel is firm.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Apple.
