- oil - 2 Tbsp
- ground ginger - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth
- chow mein noodles - 1 item
- lean pork, sliced thin - 1/2 lb
- thinly sliced Chinese cabbage - 3 c
How to make cantonese soup:
In large saucepan, lightly brown pork in oil, stirring frequently. Stir in soy sauce, pepper and ginger. Cook 5 minutes. Add chicken broth; simmer 15 minutes. Add cabbage and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Garnish each serving with noodles.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chinese, Cantonese.
