  • sugar - 3 c
  • milk - 8 c
  • vanilla extract - 4 Tbsp
  • flour - 6 Tbsp
  • whipping cream - 24 oz
  • lemon juice - 6 Tbsp
  • pecans, finely ground - 3 c
  • cantaloupe, pureed - 6 c

How to make cantaloupe ice cream:

Combine first 3 ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and coats the spoon. Remove from heat and cool. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a 6-quart ice cream freezer and freeze according to freezer instructions.
