Cantaloupe ice
Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- water
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- very ripe cantaloupes - 2 item
How to make cantaloupe ice:
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan and simmer about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.Meanwhile, cut cantaloupes in half, remove seeds and scoop the pulp and juice into a mixing bowl. Add the lemon juice and cooled sugar-water mixture and beat smooth. Put the bowl into freezer. When frozen around the edges, remove and beat smooth again. Spoon into covered container and freeze firm.
