- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 c
- water - 10 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- sliced apples - 1 item
How to make canned apple pie filling:
Cook the first 6 ingredients until bubbly. Add the lemon juice. Put the sliced apples in jar and fill with cooked sauce. Process 20 minutes in water bath. Makes 7 quarts.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Apple.
