vanilla - 1/2 tsp
pkg - 2 oz
slivered almonds - 1 item
condensed milk - 3/4 c
ground pecans - 1 c
ground coconut - 1 c
red sugar crystals - 1 item

How to make candy strawberries:

Mix together gelatin, pecans, coconut, condensed milk and vanilla. Shape mixture into strawberries; chill at least 1 hour. Roll chilled berries into sugar crystals. Add food coloring to almonds to tint a delicate green. Use for leaves and stems of berries. Store in a cool place. Makes about 48 strawberries, depending on size. They are real pretty, so tasty and decorative for a party.
