Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- almond extract
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- red food coloring - 1 item
How to make candy cane cookies:
Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, sugar, egg and flavors. Blend in flour and salt. Divide dough in half and color one portion red. Shape into ropes and roll together; twist slightly.
