Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- Karo dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
- to 8 large sweet potatoes - 6 item
How to make candied yams:
Boil sweet potatoes until soft. Peel and cut in half. Place in shallow pan. Bring syrup, sugar and butter/margarine to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour over potatoes. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Casseroles.
