Candied sweet potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
- oleo - 4 Tbsp
- small can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- cooked sweet potatoes - 8 item
How to make candied sweet potatoes:
Cut potatoes into 6 pieces lengthwise. Place in a 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle sugars and cinnamon over potatoes. Pour melted oleo over. Add pineapple and vanilla. Bake at 375° until brown. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
