Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- light brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c
- orange juice - 2 c
- medium size sweet potatoes - 6 item
How to make candied sweet potatoes:
Combine first 7 ingredients. Bring to a boil in a large skillet. Lower heat, stirring until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Add potatoes, halved lengthwise. Baste with syrup. Cook until potatoes are well glazed. Place in serving dish.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
