Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- carrots, chopped - 1 lb
- orange juice or 4 Tbsp - 1/4 c
How to make candied carrots:
Parboil carrots in salted water; drain. Add margarine, sugar, honey, pepper and orange juice. Return to fire on low heat and simmer until cooked to desired doneness.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
