Ingredients/Components
- packed light brown sugar - 1/4 c
- 1/2 stick butter - 1/4 c
- baby carrots - 2 lb
- dash of ground nutmeg optional - 1 item
How to make candied carrots:
Cook carrots in enough water to cover them until crisp and tender, about 10 minutes. Drain. Melt butter in saucepan. Add carrots. Sprinkle sugar and nutmeg. Cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
