Ingredients/Components
- apples - 6 item
- sugar - 1 c
- water
- cloves - 6 item
- cinnamon drops red hots - 2 Tbsp
How to make candied apples:
Core or pare apples. Stick with cloves. Cook sugar, water and cinnamon drops for 5 minutes. Add apples and cook very slowly until tender, basting often with syrup in pan. Serve with meat or very cold with whipped cream as dessert.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Apple.
