California chicken salad



  • milk - 1/4 c
  • sour cream - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • lettuce leaves - 1 item
  • white wine vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • mayonnaise - 1/3 c
  • minced green onion - 2 Tbsp
  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • dried tarragon leaves - 1 tsp
  • seedless green or red grapes, halved - 2 c
  • chicken, cooked, skinned and cut into cubes - 1 item

How to make california chicken salad:

In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, green onion, vinegar, tarragon and salt until well mixed. Add chicken, grapes and celery; toss gently until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled.

To serve, line serving plate with lettuce leaves. Spoon salad over leaves. Serves 4.
