Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- can whole kernel corn - 1 item
- can peas - 1 item
- bunch green onions - 1 item
- small jar pimento - 1 item
- can French-cut green beans - 1 item
- can sliced carrots optional - 1 item
- chopped celery celery seed will do - 1 c
How to make calico salad:
Drain vegetables and mix together. Bring sugar, salad oil and vinegar to a boil. Pour over vegetables and toss. Keeps up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, North american.
