Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • can pork and beans - 1 item
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • can kidney beans - 1 item
  • can garbanzo beans - 1 item
  • bacon - 1/2 lb

How to make calico beans:

Brown bacon and hamburger with onion. Mix other ingredients and pour into a 2 1/2-quart casserole. Bake 40 minutes at 350°. Serves 8 to 10.
