Ingredients/Components

  • 5 oz - 1 can
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • black beans - 1 can
  • cup chopped onion - 1 item
  • bacon - 1/2 lb
  • butter beans - 1 can
  • each pork and beans - 2 cans
  • honey dijon barbecue sauce - 1 bottle

How to make calico bean bake:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Chop bacon in 1 inch pieces and cook until browned. Drain on paper towels. Chop onion and add to ground beef and brown. Drain and rinse all beans except the pork and beans. Drain beef, add reserve beans, pork and beans (undrained), barbecue sauce, and all except 1/4 of bacon and mix well. Spoon mixture into baking pan and top with remaining bacon. Bake 45 minutes.
