Caesar salad
Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- salad oil - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 tsp
- croutons - 2 c
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 1 c
- garlic clove - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- large bunches romaine - 4 item
How to make caesar salad:
Mash garlic and add to salad oil; let stand. Just before serving, tear romaine into salad bowl, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Strain salad oil to remove garlic clove and pour over romaine; toss. Pour eggs and lemon juice over salad; toss. Add Parmesan cheese and croutons, tossing gently, and serve. Makes 24 servings.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Time to make, 3 steps or less.
