Ingredients/Components
- parsley flakes - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- tomato puree - 1 c
- cabbage - 2 c
- carrot - 1 item
- beef broth - 4 c
- small stem of celery - 1 item
How to make cabbage soup:
Add tomato puree to beef broth. Set aside. Peel and dice carrot, onion and celery. Shred cabbage. Combine these together. Cover with water. Cook until tender. Do not drain. Add to the beef broth. Add salt and pepper to taste and 1 heaping spoonful of parsley flakes. Simmer 15 minutes.Recipe categories: American, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
