Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- hot water - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 c
- shredded carrots - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- shredded cabbage
- small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- evaporated milk, chilled - 1 c
- box lime Jell-O - 1 item
How to make cabbage salad:
Dissolve jello in hot water, then add marshmallows. Stir until melted, then add mayonnaise, cabbage, carrots and pineapple. Mix well and refrigerate until it starts to set; then whip the milk until it forms stiff peaks. Add to mixture by folding in; add nuts. Let set in refrigerator until firm.Note: Chopped maraschino cherries can be sprinkled on top lightly for added color.
