Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- carrot, grated - 1 item
- green pepper, thinly sliced - 1 item
- medium head cabbage, grated - 1 item
How to make cabbage salad:
Pour boiling water over vegetables and let stand 1 hour. Drain well. Mix other ingredients; pour over vegetables. Cover and refrigerate. Will keep 2 or 3 weeks.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Chinese.
