Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- green pepper, diced - 1 item
- medium onions, diced - 2 item
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- large cabbage, shredded - 1 item
How to make cabbage salad:
Bring mustard, turmeric, salt, sugar, water and vinegar to a boil in saucepan. Pour hot mixture over prepared vegetables. Let stand 2 days in refrigerator before serving.Can be kept in refrigerator 6 months and still remain crisp.
