Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- wine vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- sesame oil
- head cabbage, chopped - 1/2 item
- cilantro, chopped - 1/2 c
- red pepper, chopped - 1 item
- seasoning packet from noodles - 1 item
- toasted almonds or sunflower seeds - 2 oz
- oriental noodles, uncooked - 1 pkg
How to make cabbage salad:
Dressing:3 Tbsp. sesame oil1/2 c. olive oil3 Tbsp. wine vinegar2 tsp. sugar1/2 tsp. pepper1 tsp. salt seasoning packet from noodles Make dressing, shaking well, ahead of time. Let stand until ready to serve salad.Toss first 4 salad ingredients in a large bowl. When ready to serve, mix in almonds or sunflower seeds and noodles. Add dressing and serve. Serves 6 to 8.
