Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- paprika - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- hamburger - 1/2 lb
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
- head cabbage - 1 item
- can tomato puree - 1 item
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
- pinch of garlic - 1 item
- medium can sauerkraut - 1 item
How to make cabbage rolls:
Mix together meat, spices, rice and egg. Shape into 2 ounce balls. Soften cabbage in hot water. Roll each ball in 1 cabbage leaf. Layer cabbage rolls and sauerkraut. Pour tomato puree over rolls. Add water or sauerkraut juice to 1-inch deep. Cover and bake at 350° for at least 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
