Cabbage chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- melted butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- finely chopped cabbage
- Swiss cheese, cut in small pieces - 4 oz
- medium potato, diced in small cubes - 1 item
How to make cabbage chowder:
Put butter, cabbage and potato in water and cook until tender. Add milk and Swiss cheese. Heat just enough to melt cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Very good. Can be frozen.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Australian.
