Cabbage and noodles
Ingredients/Components
- onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- wide noodles - 6 oz
- Accent - 1 item
- head cabbage - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
- butter not margarine - 1/2 lb
How to make cabbage and noodles:
Chop cabbage and onions into small pieces. Saut?© vegetables and soup mix in butter until cabbage is soft and green in color. Set aside. Cook noodles in boiling water until just limp (about 5 to 8 minutes). Drain noodles and mix with cabbage. Season to taste with seasoned salt, Accent, salt and pepper. Simmer about half an hour.Note: This is an excellent accompaniment to pork.
