Butterscotch torte
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- sugar
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cream - 1 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- Mix well
How to make butterscotch torte:
Beat egg yolks well, slowly adding sugar, then baking powder and vanilla. Mix well. Beat whites until stiff peaks, fold into yolk mix. Fold in crumbs and nuts. Pour into two 9 or 8-inch pans, greased and lined with wax paper. Bake at 325° for 30 tRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low sodium.
