Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese
  • pkg
  • milk - 3 c
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • butter - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • Cool Whip - 2 c
  • Layer 4: Cool Whip
  • chopped nuts, colored decors, chocolate chips or coconut - 1 item

How to make butterscotch torte:

Layer 2:2 (8 oz.) cream cheese2 c. powdered sugar2 c. Cool Whip Layer 3:2 (3 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pudding3 c. milk Layer 4: Cool Whip chopped nuts, colored decors, chocolate chips or coconut Layer 1: Mix butter, flour and nuts as you would for pie crust. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan on the bottom lightly so your mixture pats in smooth. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool.

Layer 2: Cream the cream cheese and powdered sugar and fold in the Cool Whip. Spread on Layer 1 that has cooled.

Layer 3: Cook the pudding mixed with milk until thick. Cool. Spread on Layer 2.

Layer 4: Spread on Cool Whip and garnish with either chopped nuts or colored decors, chocolate chips or coconut. I like the colored decors the best. Keep refrigerated.
