- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 2 item
How to make butterscotch pie:
Mix egg yolks, water, flour, milk and brown sugar together. Cook over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat; add vanilla and butter. Cool. Pour in 9-inch baked pie shell. Use egg whites for meringue.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
