  • plain flour - 1 c
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • Bake at 300° for 20 to 25 minutes; cool
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • large carton Cool Whip - 1 item
  • butterscotch instant pudding
  • chopped pecans - 1 item

How to make butterscotch dessert:

Mix crust ingredients and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 300° for 20 to 25 minutes; cool.Filling:1 c. confectioners sugar8 oz. cream cheese1 large carton Cool Whip1 large pkg. butterscotch instant pudding chopped pecans Mix sugar, cream cheese and 1/2 of the Cool Whip; spread over crust. Mix pudding according to package directions, then spread over the top of second layer. Top with the other 1/2 of Cool Whip and sprinkle with pecans.
